Caleta de Fuste resort has one main street, lined with palm trees and flanked by restaurants, cafeterias, and bars. There are also plenty of low-rise apartments and hotels that range from grand to humble, expensive to cheap, catering to all budget types and traveler tastes. In the recent years, Caleta de Fuste has been adding more hotels, restaurants and other amenities to cope with the increasing crowd of tourists. The resort has expanded to a fair amount and now has some additional features and amenities not available before. Of these, special mention should be made of the 18-hole golf course and a new shopping place that includes a bowling alley and cinema, designed to the likes of an international shopping mall.  The Turkish baths and thalasotherapy centre’s warm water treatments are also fairly new improvisations to the resort.

Caleta de Fuste’s warm, sunny climate and golden sandy beach is the quintessential sun, sea and sand holiday destination. The eastern coast enjoys nearly 10 hours of sunshine in summers and 5 to 6 hours of sunshine in winters, making the sea water comfortably warm for a number of swimmers, surfers, snorkelers and jet skiers. All through the day, the beaches are mostly occupied by a string of sun-beds, while some spots attract the attention of children who indulge in building sand structures.
