Brussels has one of the best public transportation systems in Europe. It boasts of a simple and inexpensive transport system with prémetro, métro, buses and trams. You can get the facility of transport card and it can be purchased from tourist offices, stations and various newsagents. Metro covers most of the city and it links up with Trams for a nice journey during your Brussels holidays. You can find regular train service from London to Brussels and trains run every twenty minutes to the city centre's three major stations, Gare du Midi, Gare Centrale and Gare du Nord. Enjoy its passenger ferry services for a fabulous experience though it is slightly expensive. You can hire bikes or cars to freely roam around the city and explore the various tourist attractions at your own pace. Buses have different colours for their ease of operation - Yellow and blue buses run within the city centre whereas orange/yellow or white ones operate through the suburbs. You can travel through licensed cabs that carry a yellow and blue license plate.
