Brena Baja is served by the La Palma Airport. Binter Canarias and Islas Airways are the two inter-island airlines; Binter Canarias flies mainly between La Palma, Tenerife-North and Gran Canaria, whereas Islas Airways serves flights between La Palma and Tenerife-North. From London-Gatwick and Manchester, the Thomson Airways flies vacation charters to La Palma. La Palma can also be reached from several other destinations in Europe.

The port of La Palma is well connected to the neighboring islands. The port of Santa Cruz de La Palma provides fast ferry services to and from the ports of Santa Cruz in Tenerife north, Los Cristianos in Tenerife south, San Sebastian in La Gomera, Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, Puerto del Rosario in Fuerteventura and Arrecife in Lanzarote.
