Maldives has, in the past few years, grown to be a very popular tourist destination in the world. Splendid beaches, exotic settings, beautiful hotels and cottages for stay and warm and friendly locals, all contribute to the charm of Maldives Holidays that you won’t be able to forget in a long time to come. The island country lies in the Indian ocean, next to Mauritius and Seychelles.
Maldives has an extremely even terrain with an average ground level of only 1.5 mts. Coral reefs run along its coasts, further helping the case of tourism. In fact, diving in these coral reefs may be one of the many activities you enjoy during Maldives Holidays.
Transportation is not much of a concern as well. A well-distributed network of ferries takes tourists from one islet to another. Speed Boats and Dhonis are the other widely used means of transportation. Male and Addu are the only places where road transport is feasible. Taxis and private cabs can be hired here.
