Costa Teguise

Costa Teguise is the second most popular resort in Lanzarote, the first being Puerto del Carmen. Located a short distance from the Lanzarote Airport and near to the capital city of Arrecife, Costa Teguise is an attractive, well-planned purpose-built resort on the southern coast of the island.

Costa Teguise has splendid beaches, no less than five spectacular bays covered in pale, cushion-soft sands bordering the Atlantic along the southern coast of Lanzarote. The crescent-shaped Las Cucharas beach is the main beach of Costa Teguise and sees the majority of beachfront accommodation, bars and restaurants. The Famara is the wild, untamed child of south Lanzarote, its waters ideal for surfers. The Bastion beach is the safest of all Costa Teguise beaches and great for children. The Jablillo and Ensenada beaches are small and less crowded than the others. They have several secluded spots which are perfect for couples, and honeymooners.
